Campo de’ Fiori’s terra cotta is hand turned or shaped by artisans who have been practicing their craft for generations.
When a plan is watered, the terra cotta wicks moisture to the moss and it continues to grow, forming a lush green surface on the pot. You may prefer to simply use the pots as you have discovered them, with the moss in a dormant state. When planted, avoid placing dormant moss for prolonged preriods of direct sunlight.
